The Obama Administrations Possibility For Impeachment
The Obama Administration's Possibility For ImpeachmentIf you have ever thought about writing an Andrew Jackson impeachment sample essay, then you have taken the first step to success. Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States. He was also the last president to have served under a completely democratic form of government. His presidency was a tumultuous time for the United States of America. The Jacksonian Democracy of Jackson, which lasted from 1829 to 1837 was known for its corruption, infighting, and weakness. During his time in office, his popularity declined. Because of this, many Americans were quite upset with the man who could very well be named for our first president of the 21st century. In early September, Andrew Jackson was shot while trying to escape from jail. It is alleged that he had plans to murder his chief rival John C. Calhoun. At the time of his death, Jackson still held sway over his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. After being shot, James Mon roe was named the new President of the United States. Unfortunately, James Monroe was actually the son of James Monroe, who died two months before Jackson did. Monroe's tenure as president would not last long. In fact, it would end before he even took office. However, Monroe survived the tumultuous tenures of Jackson and Washington. He would rule for only one term. He would die while suffering from blood poisoning from a leg injury and while running from another assassination attempt. The wounds were so serious that he would eventually require surgery to save his life. His successor, John Quincy Adams, would be elected the next president. He was Jackson's successor. Adams would not last the first year of his presidency. The impeachment of James Garfield, which occurred during his first term in office, lasted only a year. He died after leaving office from a heart attack brought on by smoking. His death was widely viewed as a political event. Sadly, both Presidents Garfield and Andrew Ja ckson will be immortalized in history books as examples of such events.
